Furthermore, MAPPA animation recently released a teaser featuring the younger version of the power duo, Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, showcasing their respective curse techniques while working together to retrieve and protect Master Tengen’s star vessel, Riko Amanai.
The series of events in Gojo’s past arc took place ten years prior to the events of the first season when Yuji Itadori accidentally found a cursed object that led him to attend Jujutsu High. Gojo served as his teacher, while Geto is known as the most cunning villain in the Jujutsu world. Long before Geto became evil, he was revealed to be Gojo’s one and only best friend in Jujutsu Kaisen Zero movie. As teased in the trailer, Gojo and Toji had an intense battle prior to Gojo taking Toji’s son, Megumi Fushiguro, under his wing. Aside from Gojo’s past, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will also feature events from one of the most anticipated arcs, the Shibuya incident. The sixth arc followed the events as the Jujutsu High investigated the traitor within their midst. Jujutsu Kaisen was released in the year 2020 and reached greater heights awarded as the anime of the year on Crunchyroll. The first season is followed by a movie release featuring Yuta Okkotsu, who was cursed by Rika Orimoto and refused to leave his side and protect him for the rest of his life until she finally accepted her death and her fate.
