Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Anime’s Episode 5 Delayed to August 13

Get ready to vanquish a horde of zombies with flying colors as corporate slave Akira breakthrough his repetitive work hell routine! Once again, Akira finds the world splashed with colors despite the zombie apocalypse happening around Japan.

There had been delays in episode releases of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Anime, which premiered last July 9. For example, the fourth episode aired on July 30 and got July 31 released on some streaming platforms like Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix, due to production circumstances.

This time around the fifth episode will be delayed to August 13. Instead of the previously scheduled program, a special episode called “Zom 100 Tokuban ~Zombie kara Nigekiru tame ni Junbi shitai 100 no Koto~” (Zom 100 Special Program: 100 Things You Need to Prepare to Run Away from Zombies) will instead air in Japan on Sunday, August 6 at 5:00 p.m. JST.

The anime, licensed by Viz Media for North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, premiered in Japan on July 9. It is a co-production by Viz Media, Shogakukan, and Shueisha Productions Japan. On July 9 at 5:00 a.m. EDT, the anime was available to watch on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix in the United States.

Akira Tendo, voiced by Shuichiro Umeda, is the protagonist of the anime, while Shizuka Mikazuki, played by Tomori Kusunoki, is a foreign company worker who follows a list of “100 things you must do to not become a zombie.” Kenichiro Ryuzaki is voiced by Makoto Furukawa, and Beatrix Amershauser is played by Minami Takahashi.

The anime is directed by Kazuki Kawagoe at studio BUG FILMS and assisted by Hanako Ueda. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of the scripts, Kii Tanaka is the character designer, Junpei Fukuchi is responsible for the zombie designs, Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music, Maiko Gōda is in charge of “music selection,” and dugout is responsible for sound production.

Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd is producing the anime, and KANA-BOON is performing the opening theme song “Song of the Dead” and Shiyui is performing the ending theme song “Happiness of the Dead.”
