Mashle: Magic and Muscles Anime Season 2 Reveals To Feature Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc
Can you imagine working on those muscles and punching through life hurdles in a world where magic is supreme? Impossible, right? But not for a protagonist who proves time and again as he overpowers magic users with pure muscles and ends the first season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles with a strong punch!
Right after airing the finale episode, the official Twitter page of the anime revealed to release the second season on January 2024 and cover the most awaited Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc. Mashle aims to become a Divine Divisionary in order to live a peaceful life with his grandfather. However, Mashle keeps making enemies along the way as he makes his strong presence known by pure incident. To prove this, the trailer further teased new faces and a new villain brewing a devious plot behind the scene.
The first season of the anime premiered in Japan last April 7. Crunchyroll streamed both Japanese and English dubs.
The staffs are as follows: Tomanari Tanaka directed the anime at A-1 Pictures, Yousuke Kuroda wrote the scripted series, Hisashi Higashijima took care of designing the characters, Masaru Yokoyama compose the music, Taiiki Okazaki performed the opening song “Knock Out”, and Philosophy no Dance performed the ending theme “Shu Cream Funk”.
The manga has a 12th compiled book volume and Shueisha published the 16th volume of the manga on April 4. Meanwhile, Viz Media’s Shonen Jump and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus respective services published the manga digitally.
